Terms of Use

1. Service and acceptance

The app offers device-location speed readings, digital and analog displays, mirrored HUD, full screen, unit conversion, alerts against a threshold you set, local trip history, statistics and CSV summary exports. Availability depends on the installed version, device and system permissions.

Selecting “Agree and continue” confirms acceptance of these terms and the Privacy Policy. Location and background access are separately governed by their notices and system permissions. If you decline, legal documents, help and simulated demos remain available; real location and recording are limited.

2. Eligibility and license

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you lawfully own or control. Rights in the software, icon, design and text remain with their owners. Open-source components retain their respective licenses. These terms do not transfer intellectual-property rights.

Obtain the app from legitimate channels. Do not violate others’ rights, unlawfully collect or disclose their movements, or compromise app or system security. Research, interoperability and other statutory rights permitted by law are preserved. Minors need appropriate supervision and consent.

3. Driving and HUD safety

Configure permissions, display, full screen, mirroring, thresholds and recording while parked or otherwise safe. Do not operate the phone by hand or become distracted by the screen while driving, cycling or operating a vehicle. Keep the device clear of your view, airbags and controls, and comply with local road and mounting rules.

HUD visibility depends on phone brightness, placement, glass reflections and ambient light. We do not guarantee clarity or equivalence to a vehicle’s built-in HUD. Check readability safely and never compromise visibility or driving safety to improve projection.

4. Readings and limitations

Device hardware, satellite signals, buildings, tunnels, weather, power management and sampling affect readings. Speed, distance, heading, altitude and duration may be inaccurate, delayed or interrupted. The app is not a certified measuring instrument or a basis for enforcement, billing or professional safety decisions.

Speed alerts compare only your fixed threshold; they do not identify the legal speed limit of the road. The app provides no navigation, road-limit database, emergency assistance or guaranteed continuous safety monitoring. Follow road signs, vehicle instruments and actual conditions; do not rely on alerts to prevent violations or accidents.

Demo speeds, coordinates and trips are simulated. System policies and permissions can interrupt background recording; recording is not guaranteed after app exit or system termination.

5. Trips and data management

Trips are local, without an account-sync or trip cloud-backup service provided by us. Recording is saved periodically, allowing you to resume an unfinished trip or save its recovered portion after relaunch. Content after the last successful save is not guaranteed recoverable; time and distance while the app was not running are not added. Uninstalling, clearing app data, deleting history or retention cleanup may permanently remove records. Export summaries when needed and manage system backups yourself.

CSV does not contain point-by-point coordinates and is not a complete route backup or restore file. Check recipients and content before sharing. We cannot remotely recover local records or remove copies received by others. Personal-information practices are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Charges, third parties and updates

The current version has no account, in-app purchases or in-app charges. Device, network, email or third-party fees are governed by your agreements with those providers. Any future paid feature will show its price and rules in advance for you to choose.

System location, stores, sharing, backup and external email follow the relevant providers’ terms and your choices. We will reasonably maintain the app and may release fixes and updates. Material changes or discontinuation will be notified as legally required, with export guidance where feasible.

7. Responsibility and statutory rights

We will fulfill applicable service and information-security obligations and reasonably handle reported problems. To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for signal, hardware or system issues, or use contrary to safety instructions, is determined according to actual fault and applicable law.

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including legally protected liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, or your mandatory consumer, privacy and other statutory rights.

8. Ending use, changes and disputes

You can stop using the app, withdraw privacy consent or uninstall at any time; manage existing records as described in the Privacy Policy. Updated terms carry a date. Material changes will receive appropriate notice and legally required consent. If you disagree, stop using the affected functions.

Please first contact admin@maimitech.com about disputes. Applicable law and dispute resolution are determined by law; mandatory local consumer protections and rights to legal remedies remain intact. Invalidity of a provision does not invalidate the remaining lawful provisions.
